SUMMARY:CFISD's Mental Health Intervention
DESCRIPTION:Mission of CFISD’s Mental Health Intervention Team Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District\, the third largest district in Texas which is currently serving 116\,249 this school year\, has a newly implemented Mental Health Intervention Team. The “MHIT” is comprised of Licensed Professional Counselors\, Licensed Psychologists and Mental Health Police Officers who have recently begun the undertaking of their vital mission: “To promote and support the mental health and well-being of CFISD students\, families\, staff members and community through prevention\, intervention and safety.” More information on their formation\, mission and work within the school system will be shared.
