Paula Harris, Executive Director Astros Foundation and Senior Vice President, Community Affairs

Paula is a native Houstonian with over three decades of experience working in the Houston community, both professionally and personally.  After graduating with a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University, she started her career with Schlumberger, Ltd. as a petroleum engineer.  She worked her way up from a Field Engineer to Leadership Positions, including Director of Community Affairs and Director of Global Stewardship.

She has extensive connections through out the Houston community.  She serves on multiple boards, was a founding member of the Young Women’s College Preparatory Academy, and is passionate about advancing STEM education.  She owns her own publishing company and is the author of four book, including “When I Grow Up, I Want To Be An Engineer”.
